From a failed console to imaging & PACS operation
A non-booting CT console was restored through data preservation, storage replacement, software recovery and imaging verification. Follow-up work completed hardware repairs and PACS/DICOM connectivity.

Preserve first. Recover with confidence.
A corrupted system registry prevented the console from starting. Toshiba configuration and backup data were preserved before a replacement 1 TB SSD was installed and the application environment restored. A full system-image backup was then created to protect the recovered configuration.
Calibration and imaging verification
Calibration data was restored, tube-interface adjustments were completed and air calibration was performed. Phantom testing confirmed X-ray exposure, gantry communication, image reconstruction and display. Preventive checks also covered table movement, positioning lasers, emergency stop and console peripherals.
Restoring the complete workflow
The initial May service phase was followed by hardware repairs and network integration. By the final update on 24 August 2026, PACS/DICOM was operational and standard CT images and 3D image transfers had been successfully tested.
The system returned to imaging operation, with software restored, hardware repaired and successful PACS/DICOM transfer testing for standard and 3D images recorded at completion.
