Relocation is where equipment gets damaged and configurations get lost. Our sequence protects both: backups before shutdown, controlled de-energization where a magnet is involved, labelled packaging and a verified restart.

Scope

Assess. Dismantle. Return to service.

Pre-Relocation Assessment

Assess equipment condition, access routes and destination readiness, with configuration backups and a review of relocation risks.

Dismantling & Protection

Coordinate shutdown, technical dismantling, component identification, protective packaging and transportation.

Reinstallation & Return to Service

Reassemble and start the system, carry out functional and calibration checks, restore PACS/DICOM settings and verify readiness for service.

Sequence

From shutdown to first scan.

Survey both sites

Access routes, floor loading, power and room readiness at origin and destination.
Back up and shut down

Configuration saved; controlled de-energization for MRI, with Civil Defense and vent checks.
Dismantle and pack

Components labelled, protected and loaded with the transport plan agreed.
Reinstall and verify

Reassembly, calibration, PACS restore and phantom imaging before release.
